Battlestar Galactica

If you haven't caught the new Battlestar Galactica on the SciFi channel, you're really missing some cool shit. I think it's even better the the Dune series that was on SciFi. It's kinda geeky at first but it will suck you in like a Cronenberg film. Don't say I didn't warn you. You can rent season one at your video store.

Hey Bro!

I've been wanting to watch an episode of the new series. I always watched the old one, although I swear it seemed campy even back then {g}. This type of sci-fi reminds me of 'Logans Run' and some of the older writers in this genre.

Well you know we put a stake in the heart of TV some time ago, so of course I hain't seen these. The last Sci Fi I hooked into was Babylon 5 and I found I really liked the quality there. Like you said about Battlestar, the first year was a bit geeky, but the Babylon story-line eventually cohered and the characters plot curves began to build some pretty interesting momentum. I'd say I'll catch this, but can't guarantee. Don't think we've even watched a dvd on our tube in the last 10 months. Now this computer addiction, on-the-other-hand....
